The Lamar County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday confirmed preliminary reports related to the deaths of two people in Roxton on Oct. 26, 2021, has been confirmed as a homicide/suicide.
“The preliminary autopsy report confirmed Lamar County Sheriff’s Office detectives’ investigation, that the female victim, twenty-year old Carla Hall, died from homicidal violence,” said Sheriff Scott Cass. “The homicide suspect, 21-year-old Tanner Robertson’s manner of death was suicide.”
Around 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 26, LCSO deputies were dispatched to the Roxton Arms Apartments regarding the discovery of two deceased persons in one of the apartments. The two decedents resided together in the home.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family,” said Sheriff Cass.
