If you’re looking for a store that offers friendly customer service, a positive atmosphere, and healthy and flavorful beverages, then Vibez Nutrition is the place to be. The brand new nutritional tea, shake, and smoothie store has a strong desire to become ingrained in the community through their vision, love, and connection to people in the area.
The birth of a new vibe
Vibez Nutrition started out as an idea and soon became a reality. The store owners wanted to take the time needed to make their store a place that encompasses the needs of the community.
“Previously, my happy place was Nutrition Journey — that’s where we got started. It just created a place of safety, fun, and happiness,” said Brittany Johnson, Vibez Nutrition co-owner. “We wanted to recreate that with our team members here as well. We’re all a part of one organization from many teams. That is how everything came about, and that is how Vibez Nutrition was created.”
The store opened last Thursday and the results were positive right out of the gates. Brittany and her staff enjoyed serving several different customers and were appreciative of the strong showing on their grand-opening day.
“Opening the store up here in Paris is absolutely heartwarming,” Brittany Johnson said. “We opened up our store on Thursday, October 22, and the support was overwhelmingly wonderful — from everybody. All kinds of people from all walks of life were there. There were people that knew us, friends of friends, and everyone showed up, showed out, and came to support this new place. We’re excited about that and to be a bigger part of the community.”
Great results and fun flavors
Along with the variety of customers, Vibez Nutrition offers a wide variety of flavors. The store owners took the time to provide different Herbalife flavors for prospective customers and their preferences.
“We offer a lot of different flavors for our products here,” said Wendell Johnson, store co-owner and husband to Brittany. “For the sour lovers, sweet lovers, and in-between lovers, we do all of those to try to satisfy everyone’s taste buds. We do have a lot of seasonal flavors as well. Our summer and spring flavors are mostly tropical options, and then we have more fall-flavored teas and pumpkin-spiced flavors for the fall.”
The store’s smoothie, shake, and tea products not only taste good, but they also help produce results. The weight loss is no joke as both Brittany and Wendell have experienced first-hand the effectiveness of their healthy beverages.
“So the products that we use in our nutrition club are from Herbalife Nutrition,” Brittany Johnson said. “The company has been around for 40 years, and it has helped people reach the weight-loss goals they want to reach. Personally, I am down 68 pounds with a healthy lifestyle around using the products. My husband (Wendell Johnson) is also down 110 pounds. What these products do are aid you in getting to the result you want to get to. The biggest factor, of course, is you and what you’re willing to do with the goals you set for yourself. We make herbal energizing teas and meal-replacement shakes to go. We are able to show you the nutritional breakdown of those shakes and teas along with what they can do for you.”
Brittany and Wendell are not the only store owners with quality results. Another one of their team members shed significant weight from the use of Vibez Nutrition’s products. Now, he is a believer in the process more than he ever was.
“The goals I reached, I mean, being down 65 pounds is magnificent,” said C.J. Eddington, store co-owner and personal friend to the Johnsons. “If I can buy into that, then I feel like I can be successful with anything. I just know we will be a successful team. They’ve pushed me and pushed me, and seeing how I was able to reach my own goals really helped me buy into the whole plan.”
Teamwork is making the dream work
At Vibez Nutrition, the team of Eddington and the Johnsons has proven to be an unbreakable squad. Doing business with people who are family to him is a huge priority and privilege for Wendell.
“Working with my wife and friend is basically a dream come true,” Wendell Johnson said. “It’s exciting to get up and be ready to come up to work every day versus going to work just to make money. We get to help people with my family and change their lives while having my people with me to get the same type of experience. We are a close-knit family and take care of one another. We keep each other accountable and there are no hard feelings because we know each other and have each other’s backs. It works for us.”
And, the feeling is mutual from Eddington to the Johnsons as well.
“Between Brittany and Wendell, it’s been really inspirational seeing this whole process unfold,” Eddington said. “It was really between them and I wasn’t into the whole weight loss yet. The whole design was all planned out really well. The colors were most definitely the woman’s part there. It’s just a dream to help other people be where they want to be, and this is only the beginning. We just want to become big and inspire as many people as possible.”
Plans for the road ahead
The future is bright for Vibez Nutrition, and the team hopes to eventually share their passion for health and togetherness through expansion.
“As far as leaving our mark on Paris, we want everyone to be on the same page with health,” Wendell Johnson said. “We also want to build this up and duplicate it to help other communities as well as this one. As far as the future, we plan to stay here in Paris for a while, that way we can make sure to touch the whole community. We want everyone to know that we are here to stay and we are not going to abandon Paris. We’re here more for the health of people than for the money. The money comes with helping people, but we are more worried about making sure people know there are other alternatives to fast food every day.”
