Mark your calendars May 19th and get ready to see the only flying Grumman Guardian plane left in the world.
That’s right…plane enthusiast and owner of Flying Tigers Airport, Skyler Burchinal, plans on starting and running the Grumman for the first time.
“Our Grumman in the only one left in the world that can fly and we’re really excited to showcase this beautiful plane at our event,” said Burchinal.
Not only will spectators be able to see the 1949 Grumman Guardian but they’ll also get to see a 1941 PT-17 Stearman and 1941 North American SNJ-4.
“My grandpa used to hold these events and have hundreds show up, so we wanted to do a ‘blow out, fly in’ event that is something fun for the whole family and also fellow pilots and plane enthusiasts.”
There will be FREE hamburgers and hotdogs at 12 p.m., as well as, a bounce house for the kids.
The event is open to the public.
