This Saturday, Sam Bell Maxey House features Maxey After Dark, a Spiritualism Event.
From 6-8 p.m., Maxey House and volunteers from PJC’s Department of Drama will present Victorian spiritualism including a séance scene as well tarot card and palm reading demonstrations. During Maxey House After Dark, the group will also talk about mourning traditions and offer some treats.
Admission to Maxey After Dark admission is $5 a person. Children 5 and under are free. The event is come and go.
Sam Bell Maxey House is located at 812 S. Church Street, and the spiritualism is set for Oct. 22 from 6-8 p.m.
