The meet was split into two sections: an open section and an invitational section and in a rare occasion, the early season meet was scored. The Lion men took third among 24 teams with 63 points in the invitational portion and fourth with 36.5 points in the open section, while the women finished third among 23 teams with 63 points in the invitational section and eighth in the open section with 23 points.

“Overall, it was another great meet for us, starting with the open section, with many of our student-athletes competing for finals and few even winning their events,” said coach George Pincock. “Later in the day, another impressive performance from Veronika and happy with Justin getting the school record in the men’s long jump. The entire team continued to compete and did what they were supposed to do today.”
