It’s that time of the year again, the annual Detroit FFA plant sale is back with an array of plants available to help brighten your home or office.
Hanging plants will be $8 each; including geraniums, airplane plants, purple heart wandering jew, ice plants and more. Other plants on offer are succulents for $5 each, aloe vera plants for $3 each, Cacti for $5 each and large plant boxes for $20 each.
While you’re shopping for a new plant, you can also take your chance in the raffle for which tickets are $5 each or five tickets for $20.
First place for the raffle will be a Cedar folding picnic table bench set; second place is a gift certificate for Weezy’s in Blossom. Third place winner will receive a $25 Hole in the Wall gift certificate; fourth place will get a dinner for two at Burgerland; while fifth place will get two lunches and drinks at Kountry Kitchen in Blossom.
You can shop from 3-7 p.m. Friday, and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the sale located West of Detroit Community Tabernacle; 192 E. Garner St., Detroit.
