Fannin County residents and businesses can sign up for and receive emergency notifications free of charge. CodeRED is a cloud based emergency notification service provided by OnSolve. The service allows government officials to provide participating members of the public with emergency and critical community alerts free of charge.
These alerts include: evacuation notices, bio-terrorism alerts, viral outbreak advisories, boil water notices, severe weather warnings, water and power outages advisories, missing children and persons reports, police activity advisories, road closure notices, and are location specific.
Persons interested in taking advantage of the CodeRED service can obtain further information, including instructions on how to sign up, at Fannin County’s website www.co.fannin.tx.us.
