Brianna Rogers, senior trumpet, and Evan Martin, sophomore trumpet, performed with the Association of Texas Small School Bands Region IV Honor band on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at White Oak High School.
Both students competed against students from Northeast Texas in December for this honor.
Brianna was selected as the thirteenth chair Trumpet in the Symphonic Band. Evan was selected as the eighth chair Trumpet in the Wind Ensemble.
Additionally, Evan advanced to the Area auditions held in Tyler in early January. Evan placed fourth, narrowly missing selection to the Texas All State Band.
