North Lamar ISD announced its 2024 Valedictorian and Salutatorian, twins Lauren and Logan Dority.
Lauren has attended North Lamar since kindergarten and will be attending Texas A&M University Commerce after graduation to pursue a degree in kinesiology followed by a doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Her favorite memory from high school was playing volleyball and getting to go to the playoffs every year.
She has been involved in Varsity Volleyball, Varsity Basketball, National Honor Society, BETA, HOSA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Junior Chamber Of Commerce, Panther Pack, and Student Council throughout her high school career.
She strives to live by the quote “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Logan has also attended North Lamar since kindergarten.
After graduation, she will be attending Texas A&M Univeristy at Commerce to pursue a degree in Kinesiology and then go on to Graduate school to become a Speech Language Pathologist or an Occupational Therapist.
Her favorite memory from high school was playing volleyball and getting to bond with all of her teammates.
She has been involved in Varsity Volleyball, National Honor Society, BETA, HOSA, FCA, Student Council, Panther Pack, Junior Chamber Commerce.
Her life motto at the moment is “Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow.”
