Chisum High School hosted The TAEA Region 8 VASE Art contest on Saturday February 24th. Seventeen schools submitted three hundred and seventeen artworks to be juried for the chance to earn a regional gold medal.
Chisum had twenty-six students and forty-two artworks compete, of which all students received at least one regional medal for one artwork.
Fourteen students received two regional medals, and sixteen entries received perfect scores.
The rating is determined by a composite score of the artwork and student interview.
