Weezy’s in Blossom shared on social media Monday afternoon offering an award for information leading to the identity of a suspect who “fired a bullet through the (restaurant’s) front exterior …
“Sometime between 9 pm Sunday and 10 am Monday, someone fired a bullet through the front exterior at Weezy’s,” the locally owned and operated business shared on social media. “The bullet traveled through the foyer and shattered the glass on one of the dining area entry doors.”
In an update, Weezy’s said the bullet traveled through the open kitchen, puncturing the wall behind the prep tray/cooler.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Lamar County Sheriff’s Office at 903-737-2400.
“A reward will be given for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the guilty party,” Weezy’s added.
