UPDATE 8:10 p.m: The Lamar County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the suspect in the Blossom shooting has been detained.
LCSO, Reno PD, and DPS Troopers were involved in a search for a subject in the Elm and N. Bois D Arc areas in Blossom.
The areas are secure.

Officials have confirmed there was a shooting in the 500 block of N Bois d’Arc in Blossom.
A male subject was flown from the Blossom softball fields to hospital.
Multiple law enforcement agencies are on the scene and are advising everyone to avoid the area.
