Hugo Schools will be closed starting tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 5th, until Monday, February 11th due to the flu outbreak.
The school posted to social media this afternoon, “This decision was made in consultation with medical professionals. The Administration Building staff, custodians, maintenance, and tech crews will work. Those among this group who are running fevers need to stay home. Bus drivers, teachers, paraprofessionals, site office workers, and students need to stay home to stop the spread of the flu. Crews will be sanitizing our facilities in preparation for the return of everyone on Monday.”
Athletics will continue as scheduled during the shutdown. Those with fevers should not attend, participate, or coach.
