Sheryl Deen Jenkins, 73, of Paris, TX., formerly of Huntington Beach, CA, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Ellis officiating. Family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. till 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
Sheryl was born on February 6, 1945 in Edgewater, Colorado to John Charles Sabourin and Marion Petticrew Sabourin. On November 6, 1964 in Las Vegas, Nevada, she married Kenneth Roy Jenkins and later she had 3 children.
She was a member and Guardian of Jobs Daughters Bethel 321 in Huntington Beach, California for several years in the 1980’s. Sheryl was an executive secretary and partner of Golden State Imaging in Huntington Beach, California. Her passion was working as a pharmacy technician for: Thrifty Drug Store and Savon Drug Store in Huntington Beach, California. She later worked for Walmart Pharmacy and Walgreens Pharmacy in Paris, Texas.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Kenneth Roy Jenkins; and her children, Paul Edward Jenkins and Wendi Kae Gray; her grandchildren, Erik Jenkins, Stephanie Jenkins, Julie Jenkins, Keegan Gray, Noah Gray, Emily Jenkins and Maggie Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Kenley Jenkins, Torrin Jenkins, Forest Jenkins, Jarrett Zimmerman, Elliot Zimmerman, Trinity Zimmerman. She is also survived by her sister, Nida Gyorfy.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Roy Jenkins Jr., father, John Charles Sabourin and her mother, Marion Pabis.
