Arthur Ervin “Art” Gilbert, 92, of Pattonville, passed away August 24, 2025 at his residence. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at the Woodland Cemetery with Adam Wise, Tim Bishop, Lucas Gilbert, Cody Gilbert, Daryl Gilbert and Danny Gilbert, Jr. serving as pallbearers.
He was born on October 14, 1932 in Grapevine, Texas a son of Luke Ray and Gladys Gilbert. Mr. Gilbert was a heavy equipment operator, was caretaker for several cemeteries and was a Baptist. Art married Irene Mae Alston on October 28, 1950. She preceded him in death on August 28, 2015.
He is survived by his children, Danny Gilbert and Pamela McNabb, 8 Grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
Mr. Gilbert will be remembered as a good husband, father and Poppy. He was caring and generous to his fellow man.
