Laura Linda Jaynes, 98, of the Georgia Community, passed away Friday, October 19, 2018, at Heritage House of Paris.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 11:00 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22nd, at Georgia Cemetery with Rev. Ronald Barnett officiating. A formal visitation will not be scheduled, however, friends and family may pay their respects at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jaynes, the daughter of G. A. and Margaret Weems, was born April 25, 1920, in Lamar County. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Edward Caviness, her second husband, Jim Jaynes, one son, Jimmy Caviness, four brothers; Bill, George, Norris and Jack, and five sisters; Pearl, Allie, Annie, Louise and Laverne.
For forty-five years she has been a member of Direct Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Lynda Bryan & husband Merle, two grandsons, Glenn Bryan & wife Angie and David Bryan & wife Dalahia, one great-granddaughter, Amy Brown & husband Brent, two sisters; Dorothy Mann and Jean Blanton both of Napoleon, OH, several nieces & nephews along with four sisters-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Direct Baptist Church, 19400 FM 79, Sumner, Texas 75486.
