Larry Trafton Fowler, Sr., 70, of Paris, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018, at his home.
Services are scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26th at BrightHolland Funeral Home with Stanley Bailey and Jeff Jones officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27th, at Shannon’s Rose Hill Memorial Park in Ft. Worth.
Larry, the son of Walter Herman & Florence Fleming Fowler, was born Sept. 3, 1948, in Bakersfield, CA. His career in the auto paint & body industry spanned over fifty years. Locally he worked at Mike’s Custom Paint & Body Shop and at Scott’s Collison. He only stopped working at Mike’s when
his health failed.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Amethyst Amber Fowler. Larry was the youngest of twelve children by the same parents. He reared eight children himself & gained three others when he married Nita.
Survivors include his wife, Nita Jones Fowler, 10 children; Tina, Larry, Donna, Connie, Travis, Floyd, Kris, Bradley, Cody and Wesley, 29 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren siblings; Mack, Dewayne, Floyd, Walter and Margaret along with a plethora of nieces, nephews and friends.
