Our heavenly father called Alice Jean Perry home on June 10, 2026, at Medical City of Plano at the age of 89.
She was surrounded by her family singing praises to God to comfort her as she left this earthly world.
Jean was born on December 21, 1936, to George D and Ruby Bell Campbell in Paris, TX.
She had several occupations through her years of life.
Her greatest joy was to care for children. Teaching her children the love of God’s word that impacted them to be faithful and obedient servants which brought great joy to her heart.
She was the mother of 5 children with 4 living children being as follows: Dale Perry and wife Donna, Diane Boyd and husband Roger, Darrell Perry, Donna Kaye Hernandez. Two siblings, a brother William Campbell and wife Barbara, a sister Thelma Barnett and husband Al. She had 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
One son, Donald Gene Perry, a nephew, Greg Campbell, and a grandson, Paxton Chaney preceded her in death.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 15 th at College Church of Christ with Nolan Butler officiating. Burial will be made in Union Grove Cemetery at Reno. The family will receive friends at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Sunday from 4 – 6 p.m.
