On June 26, Officers responded to a report of a Theft at a business in the 3800 blk of Lamar Ave. Two known suspects stole several items from the business and both have 2 or more previous convictions for Theft of Property <$2,500. The incident is under investigation.
On June 26, Officers responded to a report of an Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon call in the 1100 blk of NW 15th St. The victim told officers that the known suspect had threatened to cause them serious bodily injury with a deadly weapon. The incident is under investigation.
On June 26, Officers took a report of Identity Theft. The victim reported that their DEA prescription number had been obtained and used in various locations. The incident is under investigation.
On June 26, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 2600 blk of Lamar Ave. During the stop, Michael Hall was found to have narcotics in his possession and was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 >=1g<4g. He was booked into jail without incident.
On June 28, Officers responded to the 600 blk of NW 9th St. to investigate a motor vehicle accident. Officers were informed that a vehicle struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene. The incident is still under investigation.
On June 28, Officers responded to the 800 blk of NW 27th to investigate a Family Disturbance. Officers were advised that the known suspect had assaulted family members and has done so in the past. The suspect left the scene prior to officers’ arrival. The suspect will be charged with Continuous Violence Against the Family.
Officers made 56 traffic stops, 10 adult arrests, and answered 234 calls for service during this reporting period.
