North Lamar ISD Pre-K students across the district are benefiting from new Hatch IgniteTable interactive learning tables purchased through Title I funds as part of the district’s continued commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education.
The interactive tables are designed specifically for small-group preschool learning and encourage students to collaborate, communicate, problem-solve, and engage in hands-on educational activities while building foundational academic and social skills.
The Hatch IgniteTable allows two to four students to work together through research-based digital learning experiences focused on literacy, math, language development, communication, and social-emotional growth. The tables also support executive functioning and cooperative learning skills that help prepare students for future academic success.
“Our goal is always to create engaging learning experiences that support the whole child,” said North Lamar ISD Director of Parent and Family Engagement Melissa Allen. “These tables give our youngest learners opportunities to work together, communicate, and build important school readiness skills in a fun and interactive way.”
According to Hatch Early Learning, the IgniteTable platform was developed using research-backed learning practices and is aligned with social-emotional learning frameworks that support relationship skills, self-management, communication, and responsible decision-making in early learners.
The technology also provides teachers with real-time observation tools and data that help guide instruction and identify areas where students may need additional support.
North Lamar ISD utilized Title I funds to purchase the tables as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen high-quality Pre-K experiences and provide students with innovative learning opportunities that support school readiness.
Students throughout the district have already begun using the tables during small-group learning time and are enthusiastically engaging in collaborative games and activities that combine learning with play.
By investing in innovative early childhood resources, North Lamar ISD continues to create learning environments where students can learn, grow, and belong from the very beginning of their educational journey.
