CitySquare Paris only has two more openings for its Summer AmeriCorps program.

The AmeriCorps Neighbor Navigator will establish relationships with neighbors, either through the Neighbor Support Center or the Teen Center at CitySquare Paris.
“Members will create rapport with neighbors and gain trust to help neighbors develop skills to make positive choices.”
Primary duties include:
1. Maintain and update resource database for neighbors seeking supportive services.
2. Serve meals and assist neighbors needing shower, laundry, and clothing access.
3. Maintain cleanliness of CitySquare Paris facilities.
4. Perform initial intake registration and connect neighbors with supportive services as it relates to food security, education, life skills or other needs.
5. Maintain communication and follow-up with neighbors.
6. Promote and advertise CitySquare Paris programs and the Opportunity Center at local churches, school districts, other community agencies, and clubs.
7. Coordinate activities and special events (excluding fundraising events) for CitySquare Paris and assist in outreach programs.
8. Maintain and update CitySquare Paris database with current neighbor information.
9. Support CitySquare Paris volunteers by giving instructions and orienting volunteers to program procedures.
Those interested in applying must have an interest in serving with vulnerable populations, be at least 17 years or older and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
A total service commitment of 300 hours is required. 30 hours a week.
Benefits include:
- A living allowance of $3,000.03; paid out biweekly ($545.46)
- Education award of $1,565.08; earned at the end of the term.
