Pro-life speaker, abortion survivor and author of ‘Survivor,’ Claire Culwell will be speaking at the Lamar County Federated Republican Women’s Monthly Meeting on Apr. 7.
When Culwell’s mother became pregnant at the age of 13, she had an abortion, but weeks later realized she was still pregnant.
Little did her mother know, she was pregnant with twins and only one of the fetuses was aborted, leaving Culwell as a survivor.
Culwell was adopted shortly after birth and now shares her miracle testimony internationally at churches, fundraising banquets, and college events.
“My life is a miracle and I would be selfish to keep this gift to myself,” said Culwell. “I want to tell everyone what a gift I and even they have been given. I want to encourage them to seek alternatives to abortion because I would never want any woman/man to go through the grief and the pain that my birth mother went through simply because she didn’t know she had any other option.”
The wife and mother of four has been featured on Fox News and Focus on the Family and she is a board member for Texas Alliance for Life and a Culture of Life Ministry Leaders in Lindale, Texas.
“I also want to be a vessel to offer God’s forgiveness to the men and women who have previously had abortions. I know healing is possible and I have been given the gift of surviving an abortion so that I can tell these men and women that they are forgiven…coming from an aborted child, I hope they know the power of forgiveness and healing through me.”
The LCFRW are asking guests to bring donated items for the Paris Pregnancy Center.
The event is being held at Home2 Suites by Hilton, 3413 NE Loop 286 in Paris.
