Mary “Sue” Stevens Daugherty, 74 of Paris, passed away January 31, 2026. A graveside service has been set for Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 11:00 am at Union Grove Cemetery in Reno with Rev. Buddy Greer officiating.
Sue was born on September 7, 1951 to Vernon and Evelyn Stevens. She married Dennis Daugherty on June 13, 1986. Sue worked as a Registered Nurse for over 44 years, having retired in the capacity of Regional Director for the State of Texas. Sue was lifelong resident of Paris.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Daugherty; stepdaughter, Kristi Sanders; sister-in-law and friend of 44 years, Hilda Williams and husband, Rockey of Paris; nephew, David Stevens and wife, Kathy of Aledo; great-niece, Kyla; great-nephew, Donovyn; grandson, Korbin and great-grandson, Roman, both of Paris.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Arvie Stevens and his wife Gayle.
Sue enjoyed Golf with the Pine Ridge Ladies Golf group and playing at the casino.
