Rickey Lee “Rick” Moore, 68 of Paris, Texas passed away on August 11, 2025.
Born on August 31, 1956 in Paris, Texas, Rick was the son of Archie Wayne Moore and Freddie Moore. He graduated from Paris High School and remained deeply connected to his roots throughout his life.
Rick found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved working in the yard and took pride in maintaining a beautiful garden. His passion for gardening was matched only by his enthusiasm for watching his grandchildren play sports-a pastime that brought him immense happiness and pride.
He is lovingly remembered by his sons, Brandon Moore, Matt Moore, and Michael Pearson; his brothers, Gary Moore and Terry Moore; his cherished grandchildren, Harmony Hamil, Ruscha Moore, Jagger Moore, Lennon Moore, Kinzie Moore and Mila Moore. He was preceded in death by his father, Archie Wayne Moore; mother, Freddie Moore; brothers, Archie Lynn Moore and Steve Moore; sister, Kellie Black; son, Kevin Moore; daughter, Melissa Pearson Ashborn.
Rick’s memory will live on through those who knew him and shared in the moments that made up a life well-lived. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
