Alma Ruth McIntyre, known to friends and family as “Ruthie,” passed away on August 6, 2025, in Paris, Texas, at the age of 82. Born on May 21, 1943, in Mineral Wells, Texas, she was a proud graduate of Buffalo Valley High School in Oklahoma and a devoted member of the Yanush and Clayton Assembly of God churches. After her and Earnest retired they moved to Paris TX where they attended First Assembly of God Church
Ruthie dedicated her life to her family, raising three sons and later working at Clayton State Bank. She was married to her beloved husband, Earnest McIntyre, for 61 years. Together, they enjoyed a life filled with love and laughter, surrounded by children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A service honoring her life will be held on August 9, 2025, at 10 AM at First Assembly of God Church, 3475 Lamar Ave, Paris, TX, followed by burial at AL Stephen’s Cemetery in Clayton, Oklahoma.
Ruthie will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
