For the eighth year straight, Chick-fil-A held on to the top position of America’s favorite restaurant, according to American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI).
According to the survey, consumers prefer full-service restaurants over fast food which decreased by 2.6% in the last year.
Chick-fil-A scored 83 out of 100 with sandwich chain Jimmy John’s and “All Other” fast food chains scoring 79 this year.
Domino’s and KFC scored 78, Chipolte, Panera, Pizza Hut and Starbucks scored 77, Arby’s and Papa John’s scored 76 and Burger King, Little Caesars, Panda Express and Subway all scored 75.
The lowest scoring fast food chain was McDonald’s with a score of 68.
The ACSI Restaurant Study 2021-2022 was compiled using interviews with 20,143 customers between April 2021 and March 2022, a press release said.
