Some owners of the heavy-duty diesel Ram trucks are being told to park their trucks outside of the garage due to engine-fire risks. Fiat Chrysler has recalled more than 20,000 of its trucks distributed mostly in U.S. and Canada.
Though no injuries have been reported at this time, the company has reported three known fires so far. The company said the 2021 pickup and chassis cab trucks have the potential to overheat due to heater relays.
As they are in the process of creating a repair, the recall on the 6.7-liter Cummins Diesel engines is expected to start on April 30.
