A CEZCK SPORT small engine airplane crashed near Gober in Fannin County in a pasture on CR 3315 this morning around 8:30 a.m.
“There was an instructor and student pilot practicing stalls when they made an emergency landing in a pasture,” said DPS Public Information Officer Sgt. Mark Tackett.
Tackett added that he was unaware of what exactly went wrong, and he said that DPS Troopers made their way to the accident to secure the scene until NTSB and FAA representatives arrived to investigate.
Both people involved were transported to Hunt County Memorial Hospital for further medical attention with non-life-threatening injuries.
