The 7th annual Smalltown Helping Hands Crawfish Boil, Fish Fry & BBQ, hosted by the Thompson Family Cabin, has been set for May 4.
Smalltown Helping Hands raises money for families with rising medical bills. Since 2018, the organization has helped more than 62 families and raised over $292,000. In 2023, over $131,500 was raised.
The annual fundraiser can support multiple families in Fannin, Lamar, and Red River counties, and occasionally families outside of these counties.
The event on May 4 will be held at 21151 FM 79 in Sumner, Texas, 75486.
Food will start being served at 5:30 p.m. and a live auction will start at 6:30 p.m.
