When six-year old Liam Armbrust visited CitySquare Paris last year and learned what the organization does to help the community, he told his parents he wanted to help the homeless too.
“He kept saying he wanted to do something to help and so we just kind of came up with this idea for the lemonade stand to raise money for CitySquare,” said mom, Lauren.
Through selling lemonade, he raised more than $600 and wants to surpass that goal this year.
“We’re hoping to making this an annual thing. We love CitySquare and giving back to the community and non-profits and we’re very excited to open the lemonade stand again.”
CitySquare is encouraging the community to stop by and support “our friend and young philanthropist.”
“Thanks to his Mom, Lauren Beers Armbrust, for instilling these values to Liam and his brother,” said the organization online.
Liam’s Lemonade Stand will be open on Saturday, July 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the entrance of Stone Ridge off FM 195.
