Around 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, Paris PD responded to a robbery complaint call in the Walmart parking lot on Lamar Avenue.
“It was reported that an unknown Hispanic male approached the complainant as the complainant was putting items in her car,” said Paris Police Lt. John Berry.
Officers were told that the unknown male assaulted the female and took her purse before fleeing the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
