Three seats on the North Lamar Independent School District will be up for reelection.
Any person wishing to file as a candidate for school board may pick up an application packet at the NLISD Administration Building located at 3201 Lewis Lane between the hours of 7:30 a.m.and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Deadline to file for a place on the ballot is February 15. On that day the office will be open until 5:00 p.m. North Lamar ISD will be closed January 21 for Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
NLISD School Board members having expiring terms are Kyle Coston, Rickey Richardson and Tim Stone. All are three year terms.
Early voting is Monday, April 22 through Tuesday, April 30. Election day is Saturday, May 4.
