Paris Police are investigating after a diamond ring was reported stolen from David House Jewelry.

Officers responded to a theft that occurred in the 4200 block of Lamar Ave at 4:25 P.M. on January 9, 2019.

“It was reported that a white male and female entered the store and asked to look at some jewelry,” said Officer Curtis Garrett. “While the clerk was distracted, a diamond ring valued at over $6,000 came up missing.”

The clerk did not notice that the ring was missing until after the couple had left.

The investigation continues.
