The Chocolate Kettle is making sure that everyone who stops by their food truck remembers the men and women serving our country.

Father and son duo, Russell and Andrew Thrasher, come from a military family and are always looking for ways to support the troops and bring awareness to the sacrifices they make every day.

“Both of my grandpas were in the military, as well as many of my friends, and it’s a way for us to show our support and remind other people that there are men and women all over the world who are away from their families fighting for all of our freedoms that need prayers and support,” said Andrew who manages The Chocolate Kettle.

Along with a box of toy soldiers, there is a sign that reads, “Please take one of these soldiers home and place it somewhere to remind you to pray for those who are protecting our freedom.”

The Chocolate Kettle has been bringing awareness to our troops since 2015 and has given away over 1000 soldiers.

Next time you get a bite to eat from The Chocolate Kettle, be sure to take home a plastic toy soldier and pray for our troops.
