Bentley was recently elected to the regional State Republican Executive Committee during the RPT Convention in Houston. Attending Thursday’s meeting alongside Bentley will be SREC’s Donnie Weisenbaker.
During the meeting, the organization will also present a partial viewing of “The Mind Polluters.” Dr. Teresa Bussell, an education activist within Lamar County, will also give a brief overview on having inappropriate books removed from schools.
Light refreshments will be available during the meeting.
The Republican Women of the Red River Valley’s meeting will be at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds, 570 E. Center Street, inside building B on Thursday, June 23, starting at 6 p.m.
