Three days after his 69′ Camaro, truck and trailer were stolen from Ennis, Texas, local owner Louis Prihoda has his beloved drag car back.
“It has no motor or transmission and the interior is trashed and they’ve spray painted all over it,” said Prihoda. “It needs a lot of work but I’m very happy to have it back.”
On Sunday morning, Prihoda discovered his Ford F-350, Sparton trailer, and 69′ Camaro stolen from the LaQuinta Inn in Ennis, Texas, after racing the night before in a nearby town.
Posting on social media, word quickly spread and reports came in of sightings of the Camaro around in the Balch Springs area.
“Earlier this morning, someone shared a photo of the Camaro in the parking lot at H. Grady Spruce High School in Dallas and shared it to a Facebook page for stolen vehicles,” said Prihoda. “As soon as we found out, we loaded up and picked up the car. The truck and trailer are still missing but they can be replaced. The Camaro has a lot of sentimental value and I’m very thankful to have it back and to all who shared our posts looking for it.”
