Sherry Gayle Clarkson 59, of Blossom, died at 4:46 AM, Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. A graveside service is set for 10:00 AM, Friday, October 5, 2018 at Knights of Honor Cemetery with Bro. Evan Butler officiating. No formal visitation hour will be observed. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Sherry was born October 14, 1958 in Dallas, Texas to Morris Dalton and Patsy Ann Wooten Gibson. She married Rhett Clarkson on March 20, 1982 in Hugo, Oklahoma. Mrs. Clarkson attended Paris Junior College and was a member of the Blossom Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Rhett Clarkson of Blossom; three children, Ryan Peel and wife, Crystal of Bogata, Toni Clarkson of Denton, and Kelli Clarkson and James of Blossom; six grandchildren, Jordyn, Jackson, Mallory, Addisyn, Gavin, and Garrett; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Randle and Sue Clarkson of Blossom; and three siblings, Tina Gibson of Pattonville, Mike Gibson of Sumner, and Jeff Gibson of Pattonville. She was preceded in death by her parents.
