Second suspect arrested in Aspen Drive home burglary

Paris Police have arrested a second suspect in connection to a burglary that occurred on February 21, 2019, in the 2900 block of Aspen Drive.

21-year-old Julique Brashad Franklin, of Paris, turned himself in to authorities on February 25, 2019, to be arrested.

He was booked and later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.

Around 12:30 p.m. on February 21st, the homeowner was alerted by his security system that someone was inside the residence.

Police secured the scene and found no one inside.

“Evidence showed that several items were stolen from the residence including game boxes and jewelry,” said Officer Curtis Garrett. 

During the investigation, Paris Police arrested 19-year-old Seybian Rashaun Holt, of Paris and charged him with burglary of a habitation.

Most of the stolen property has been recovered and the investigation continues.
