Scott Allan McDonald, Sr., 61, of Duncan, OK, formerly of Paris, passed away Monday, Nov. 18, 2024, at Duncan Regional Hospital.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Tiny Freelen officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Scott, the son of James Earnest McDonald, Sr. and Gloria Dorty McDonald, was born June 7, 1963, in Houston, TX. He graduated from North Lamar High School. His career with Earthgrains spanned many years. Scott then worked with his cousin, James McDonald, in the lawn care business until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mechele McDonald, his grandparents, Sybol and James McDonald, who reared him as their own son, and his parents, James Earnest McDonald, Sr. and Gloria McDonald. Survivors include four children, Brandon McDonald and wife Christie, Scott Allan McDonald, Jr. and wife Brea, Chase McDonald and wife Melinda, and Season Qualls and husband Kenneth all of Paris, numerous grandchildren, a brother, James McDonald, Jr. of Paris, and three sisters, Becky Armstrong of Dayton, Beverly Daniels of Lufkin, and Barbara Rushing of Lufkin along with numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
