The Lamar County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents of yet another phone scam making the rounds.
“The automated “robo-call” tells the citizen their social security number has been flagged, suspended and compromised then transfers to a live person who then asks for their name,” said LCSO on their Facebook page.
Sheriff Cass warns residents to be vigilant with all of your personal information and keep it protected.
