Hampton by Hilton – Paris, Texas continues to lead the way in hotel hospitality, receiving yet another “outstanding rating” during their annual Hilton Quality Assurance Inspection yesterday morning.
“This is the highest rating given out by QA auditors, and our auditor said she usually only has approximately 9% of properties that get this sort of distinction,” said owner Mihir Pankaj.
The local hotel received a 95.76% score after an intense “white-glove” inspection.
“They pick 10 random rooms when they arrive, and we don’t know what rooms they will pick,” said hotel manager Laura Spencer.
Hilton auditors inspect hotels with a fine-tooth comb, not only inspecting rooms but common areas as well.
“The auditor went over everything from room cleanliness to safety signs, food prep (temperatures), light, fire drills, elevators and more,” said Spencer.
Pankaj couldn’t more proud of his team, especially after only a year ago being closed after a contractor error.
“This time last year we were actually shut down due to a contractor error leading to our entire hotel flooding,” said Pankaj. “But being able to go from being shutdown to fully open and getting an outstanding rating is unprecedented and speaks volumes of how hard our team has worked to build back up.”
