Ruby Louise Canida Moreland, 80, of Powderly, passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, at the Inola Health & Rehabilitation Center in Inola, OK.
The family has scheduled memorial services for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25th at the Powderly Church of God with Rev. Mark Sanders officiating. Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
Mrs. Moreland, the daughter of Jack Gaither and Ruby Crossland Gaither, was born Feb. 13, 1938, in Petty.
Her career at the Campbell Soup Company spanned 35 years before her retirement. Louise was a faithful member of Powderly Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Gaither, her mother, Ruby Ray, a son, Joe Cedrone, two daughters Mary Canida & Ramona Canida, and three siblings.
Survivors include five children; Chuck Canida of Powderly, Steve Canida of Powderly, Renee Beckham & husband Steve of Checotah, OK, Bobby Canida of Powderly and Robbie Reinke of Powderly, sixteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two brothers; Jerry Wayne Gaither of Paris and Billy Jack Gaither of Mt. Pleasant along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
