Clinton Keith Matney, age 56, of Paris, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Paris Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds in the West Building. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roden-Pryor Funeral Directors.
Keith was born to James Billy and Marcella Virginia Varner Matney on March 17, 1962 in St. Joseph Hospital in Paris, Texas. He was retired from Campbell Soup after 32 years of service. Keith enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as any outdoor activities with his friends. He was also known to love visiting with neighbors.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents and a special cousin, Todd Gose. Survivors include his first and last love, Susan Sanchez, of Paris; a brother, Steve Matney and wife, Mary, of Quanah, Texas; a niece, Mallary Matney, of Texarkana, Arkansas; an aunt, Ollie Varner, of Paris; as well as numerous family and friends that will miss him dearly.
In lieu of usual remembrances, the family requests that donations be made in Keith’s memory to a charity of your choice.
