The Clarksville Police Department is investigating the death of individual Thursday evening and treating it as suspicious.
Chief of Police Jarrett Ehlinger sent out a press release this afternoon stating:
On January 24, 2019, at approximately 8:52 p.m. the Clarksville Police Department, Fire Department, Red River County Sheriff’s Office and Life Net responded to a 911 call in the 400 block of East Broadway Street in Clarksville.
First responders found an individual in an unknown type of medical distress.
Medical personnel made every attempt on the individual to sustain life, however, first responders we unsuccessful on the individual.
The individual did not survive.
At this time there is an ongoing investigation of an unknown/unexplained death.
