More than 331,000 diesel pickup trucks are being recalled by General Motors as a short circuit from the engine block heater cords can potentially lead to a fire.
Certain 2017-2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 pickups with 6.6-liter Diesel engines and block heaters are within this specific recall.
According to General Motors, 24 fires have been reported and fixed for the same issue in 2019’s recall.
