Rebecca J. “Becky” Young, 80, of Sumner, passed away Friday, September 27, 2024.
She was born Jan. 16, 1944, the daughter of Mollie Tucker Orr and Bruce Orr. On April 18, 1964, she married Johnny “Pat” Young. Survivors include her husband, Pat, sons, Johnny Young, Jr. (Whitnee) and Corey Young, granddaughters, Chelcee Gernaat (Colton), Jessee Young, and Jodee Young, great granddaughter, Mayzee Gernaat, son-in-law, Kevin Snow (Ann), step-daughter, Jae Dickinson (John), grandsons, Matt Dickinson (Aime’e), Austin Snow (Amber), Ben Dickinson (Danielle), great grandsons, Conner Dickinson, Lawson Snow, Hunter Snow, and Shepherd Dickinson, nephews, Warren Orr (Darcey), and Jay Orr (Renee), a niece, Rhonda Orr, and great nephews, Bruce Orr and Jack Henry Orr, along with a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Burce Orr and Mollie Orr, a brother, Jackie Orr, and a step-daughter, Yvette.
Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
