Raymond L. Jones 72, of Paris, died at 9:29 AM, Monday, June 4, 2018, at Paris Regional Medical Center. A graveside service is set for 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Allens Chapel Cemetery in Fannin County. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 PM Friday evening at the funeral home. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Ray was born August 21, 1945, in Honey Grove to Lonnie Cleo and Effie Lee Kay Jones. He owned and operated Ray Jones’ Fencing Company for several years.
Survivors include eight children, Randy Lee Jones, Michael Ray Jones, Kevin Ray Jones, Byron Jones, Kerry Rae Aguilar, Joshua Ray Jones, Alisha Fagan, and Alan Perdue; numerous grandchildren; nine brothers and sisters, Joyce Jones Mills, Barbara Jones Gilbert, Mozelle Jones Hall, Shirley Jones Obert, Peggy Jones Huffer, Kathy Jones Clepper, Glenda Fay Jones, Linda Kay Jones Lisle, and Neva Nell Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sons, Ricky Lynn Jones, Christopher David Jones and Michael Joseph Jones; and five siblings, Jimmy Earl Jones, Brenda Jones Henderson, Rafeal Dean Jones, Mickey Wayne Jones, and Jerry Dale Jones.
