Detectives with the Paris Police Department executed a search warrant on a residence in the 1100 block of Grove St at 12:36 P.M. on January 14, 2021. The search warrant was used to locate 29-year-old Fredricus Lee Treal Reed who had 2 outstanding felony warrants charging him with manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance of more than 1 gram but less than 4 grams and 2 felony warrants charging him with manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance of more than 4 gram but less than 200 grams. Once inside the residence, Reed was located and placed under arrest. Detectives observed a large amount of marijuana on the living room coffee table. A subsequent search warrant was obtained and the detectives located approximately 6 lbs 9oz of marijuana (street value of $37,000), 377 grams of ecstasy (approximately 2,000 pills with a street value of $13,000), 4.5 grams of Oxycodone, approximately $15,000 cash, and three handguns; one of which had been reported as stolen. Also located in the residence was 30-year-old Brittany Denis Patterson, of Paris. Reed and Patterson were charged with Manufacture Delivery CS PG2 or 2A >=4G<400G, Possession of Marijuana >5lbs<=50lbs, Manufacture Delivery CS PG 1 >=4g<200G, and Theft of a Firearm. Reed was additionally charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm due to a prior felony conviction in 2018. Both were booked and later transferred to the Lamar County jail.
