The Paris Police Department said Monday that the pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle shortly before 6 a.m. on Sept. 29, succumbed to his injuries at Paris Regional Health on Oct. 1, and the suspect and vehicle has been identified.
At the time of the major collision, police did not know the identity of the victim, suspect or suspect vehicle.
Police say next of kin has been notified, however, no further details has been released at this time.
