“Spread love everywhere you go, let no one ever come to you without leaving happier” -Mother Teresa
On Saturday afternoon, April 21st, Catherine ‘Cate’ Pearl Curtis was given the ‘halo she deserved’.
“My heart is in pieces and the selfish side of me wishes I could have one more day,” said the owner of Smokin Hot Boutique Tiffany Pusateri.
Born in Paris, Texas, Cate spent her time commuting back and forth between Oklahoma and Texas. She loved spending time with her family Hugo and McAlester, OK, and coming back to Paris for her career and passion. She is a North Lamar graduate and worked at Smokin’ Hot Boutique in downtown Paris.
“Whether you knew her well or just in passing you knew she was made of gold. She would do any single thing for anyone and never had anything bad to say about anyone. The sweetest, most infectious soul.”
Tiffany described Cate as a jack of all trades and said her passion was fashion and makeup.
“She was the manager and makeup artist at Smokin Hot where she also exceeded exceptions in Social Media Marketing. Most everyone knew her beautiful face because she lent her beauty to many companies and was the face for them as well as a great role model.”
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will take place at the First Baptist Church in Hugo, Oklahoma, Thursday, April 26th at 1 p.m.
The family will receive friends at Miller & Miller Funeral Home at 410 South “F” Street in Hugo, Oklahoma Wednesday, April 25, from 6 – 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, Cate’s family requested donations be made to https://endhomelessness.org/
